Trip Highlights

Day 01 :

Arrival in Amritsar

Upon arrival in Amritsar, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Take some rest and then visit the Golden Temple. Later, explore the Jallianwala Bagh, a historic site of a tragic massacre. In the afternoon, you have free time to chill out. In the evening, around 3 PM, proceed to Wagah Border to witness the Closing Ceremony. The ceremony starts at 5:30 PM and involves a military practice by the security forces of India and Pakistan. It includes a parade, lowering of the flags, and a retreat. After the ceremony, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 02 :

Amritsar to Dalhousie - Local Sightseeing (210 Kms, 7 Hours)

After breakfast, leave for Dalhousie. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and proceed for local sightseeing in Dalhousie. Explore the scenic beauty of this hill station. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dalhousie.

Day 03 :

Dalhousie Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Dalhousie. Visit the mesmerizing Khajjiar, known for its emerald, green meadow and thick forests. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain views from Lakkar Mandi. Return to the hotel to stay at night in Dalhousie Hotel.

Day 04 :

Dalhousie to Dharamshala (110 Kms / 4 Hrs By Surface)

Check out from the hotel and drive to McLeod Ganj (Dharamshala). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Bhagsu Nag waterfall, St. John Church, and Dalai Lama Temple and explore the local market. Stay overnight at the hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 05 :

Dharamshala - Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Dharamshala HPCA cricket stadium, Norbulingha Institute, Kangra Art Museum, and Tea Gardens, and enjoy Sunset in Naddi Village. Night accommodation at the hotel in Dharamshala.

Day 06 :

Dharamshala to Amritsar Drop (220 Kms, 6 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Amritsar by road. In time, you will be dropped off at Amritsar Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. The tour ends with sweet memories.
